Privacy Policy

1. Data storage

Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker stores your transactions, budgets, goals, recurring items, debts, accounts, reports, preferences, and app settings locally on your device.

• Emtrack does not require a user account.
• Emtrack does not send your financial records to an Emtrack server.
• Emtrack does not use a cloud profile to store your finance data.
• Emtrack does not link to bank accounts or retrieve bank transactions.

You control your device, your exports, and any files you choose to share.

2. Account and authentication

There is no Emtrack account system. You use the app directly on your device. If you choose to secure the app with a PIN, the app uses local protection mechanisms to help verify the lock state.

3. App lock and biometrics

When App Lock is enabled, Emtrack uses device secure storage and the operating system's biometric prompt where available.

• Emtrack does not receive or store your fingerprint or face data.
• Biometric verification is handled by the operating system.
• You can disable app lock in the app settings at any time.

4. Backups and exports

Backups and exports are user initiated. When you choose to export or back up data, Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker creates files on your device.

• PDF, CSV, and JSON exports are generated locally.
• JSON backup and restore are generated locally.
• Optional raw database backup and export may be available in Pro.
• You are responsible for where you store exported files.

Emtrack cannot recover files that you delete, overwrite, or store somewhere inaccessible to you.

5. Notifications and reminders

Optional notifications such as budget reminders, recurring due reminders, daily summaries, and goal updates are scheduled locally on your device. If you disable notifications, the app should respect that choice.

6. Subscription and payments

Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Google Play or the Apple App Store. RevenueCat may be used to validate purchase status and unlock Pro access.

• RevenueCat may process an app user identifier, purchase state, entitlement state, and store receipt data needed to verify subscriptions.
• RevenueCat does not need your financial records to perform subscription verification.
• Payment card information is handled by Google or Apple, not by Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker.
• Subscription and billing data are governed by the app store and RevenueCat policies.

7. Third-party services

Emtrack may rely on the app stores and RevenueCat to support distribution, billing, and entitlement checks. Those services may process device or transaction metadata according to their own privacy notices.

8. Children's privacy

Emtrack is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it, clear it in the app, or uninstall the app. You can also export your data before deleting it if you want a copy.
