Terms of Use
1. Agreement to terms
By downloading, installing, or using Emtrack, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of service
Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker is a local-first budgeting and tracking tool for manually entered financial data. It is not a bank, lender, broker, tax advisor, or investment advisor.
3. Not financial advice
Emtrack may display summaries, insights, and forecasts based on information you enter. Those features are informational only and are not financial, tax, or legal advice.
4. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live and be allowed to use the relevant app store services in your region.
5. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker for personal use in accordance with these Terms and applicable store rules.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where law permits
- Use the app for unlawful purposes
- Circumvent subscription or feature access controls
- Resell or redistribute the app or its content
6. Your data and responsibilities
You control the data you enter into Emtrack. You are responsible for keeping accurate records, securing your device, and maintaining your own backups.
- Emtrack does not guarantee the accuracy of user-entered data.
- Emtrack is not responsible for losses caused by device failure, uninstallation, or missing backups.
- You should export or back up your data if you want an off-device copy.
7. Subscriptions - Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker Pro
7.1 Plans
Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker Pro is offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions through Google Play and, where available, the Apple App Store.
7.2 No free trial
Unless the store listing says otherwise, Emtrack: Income and expenses tracker Pro does not include a free trial.
7.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account settings before the renewal date.
7.4 Payment
Payments are processed by Google or Apple. Emtrack does not collect or store payment card details.
7.5 Restore purchases
You can restore a previous Pro purchase on a new device or reinstall from the in-app Pro screen using the same store account.
7.6 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Google or Apple according to their policies. Emtrack does not process refunds directly.
8. Free and Pro access
The free version of Emtrack includes the core tracking workflow and free export tools. Pro expands capacity and depth but does not take away your ability to access your own data.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that violates law or store policy.
10. Third-party services
Emtrack uses RevenueCat for subscription verification and the app stores for distribution and billing. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
11. Service changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as needed for maintenance, business, or legal reasons.
12. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that any forecast or report will match real-world results.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMTRACK AND ITS DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR EMTRACK PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $10.
14. Termination
You may stop using Emtrack at any time by uninstalling it. Pro access ends when your subscription expires or is cancelled.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], except where mandatory consumer protection laws say otherwise.
